Supreme Protein Bars Review

One of my family’s favorite things to do is to spend time outside, going on hikes. Everytime I find myself getting ready to go out on another hike, I have the same problem: what kind of food to bring with us? That’s why I was so excited when I got the chance to review some Supreme Protein Bars.  We were sent three different flavors to try out: Peanut Butter Pretzel Twist, Caramel Nut Chocolate, and Peanut Butter and Jelly. Each bar is powered by Whey Isolate, which provides the protein.
The Peanut Butter Pretzel Twist was the first one S and I tried out. It has 15g of protein as well as Vitamins A, C, E, B6, AND B12, plus even more minerals. We loved it! It was really creamy and chewy. The peanut butter and the pretzels never overpowered each other, like I’ve seen happen before, so it was neither too sweet nor too salty. It was a perfect balance between the two. My favorite part was that there was no chalky taste to any of the bars, like you usually get with protein bars. It tasted just like a candy bar, and S thought it “tastes like you are treating yourself, when you’re actually eating healthy.” This was definitely our favorite flavor!
The Caramel Nut Chocolate was the next we tried, and it also had 15g of protein, as well as vitamins and minerals, like the Peanut Butter Pretzel Twist.  We thought this one tasted almost like one of those Star Crunch snacks by Little Debbie! It was so good! Just like the other bar, there was no weird chalky taste that made you feel like you were eating healthy; it just tasted like a treat. Even the chocolate was delicious, which I’ve found is not usually the case for protein bars.  I liked this one a lot.
Finally, I tried out the Peanut Butter and Jelly. It offers all the same nutritional value as the others, and has fruit jelly, peanut butter, and whey crisps in it. This tasted just like a PB&J sandwich! I thought it was really tasty, but a little bit sweet. I let my toddler taste a tiny bit of this flavor, and she was in love!
I loved all of these flavors, and especially loved the fact that none of them tasted like chalk or like you were eating “healthy”. These would be perfect for sports, outdoor activities, or even just to grab on your way out of the house.  I will definitely be on the lookout to buy more of these tasty bars.
You can buy Supreme Protein Bars online here or at CVS, Wal-Mart, GNC, Walgreen’s, 7-11, Circle K and thousands of other retail locations.

Thank you so much, Supreme Protein, for the opportunity to review your delicious bars!
