I was recently able to review the Safe Sippy - BPA Free, Stainless Steel Drinking Cup from Organically Hatched. I love being able to find so many organic and safe products on one site without having to search all over the web.
The Safe Sippy is made from clean, non-leaching stainless steel and all plastic parts are free of BPA (Bisphenol A), phthalates and DEHA. It features a no-leak silicone valve, Thermoplastic rubber sleeves that insulate and protect, as well as a straw shaped spout.
The second I took this cup out of the box, little monkey was in love! She was so excited to drink from it, and she loves the handles. I love that it is easy to clean, and the thermoplastic sleeves keep her drinks cold, as well as protect the body of the cup from dents. She has already dropped/thrown it a number of times, and it still looks brand new. So it seems really durable. I also love that it really is leak-proof. It’s laid on its side for long periods of time, and we’ve never had a problem. The only time anything has ever leaked out, I think I overfilled the cup, and a little bit came out, but that was my error.
My favorite thing aside from the fact that it is made from safe materials, is the fact that the handles can be removed. I think that will be great for when she is older and feels like she doesn’t need a “baby” cup. We love this cup and can’t wait to get more use out of it.
